A little bit about me..
My name is Adrian and I am a (semi-successful) blogger. I am in my 27th year of life. I started writing a blog in Jan 2010 just as a small writing experiment whilst I was at University. It allowed me to express my thoughts and reiterate life here in England to some of my American friends. The blog has actually grown bigger and gained more followers than I thought it would for which i'm always grateful.
Many blogs will focus on a particular subject. Mine doesn't. It's about me, life, random thinkings and subjects and not all to everyone's tastes. Still, try stick with me on my little life adventures and write/comment about your own. Also, please ignore the odd spelling mistake, I'm only human.
So I was a student in Derby and my major was American Studies (you were probably wondering why I said reiterate to American friends right?) This always seems odd to people who always ask "what the hell are you going to do with that?" Well, I guess with any degree, it is how you apply yourself and I eventually want to teach so I know my degree will work towards that. I eventually want to teach History in Chicago and am taking the steps towards accomplishing that goal.
Travelling is my life and if I was to win the lottery tomorrow, I'd be off travelling for the next 10yrs walking around the World. I see as much as job and work wise will allow. I've gotten as far as Australia and New Zealand as well as some of Europe and most of America. It baffles me when people are not interested in wanting to see more.
I have a son which surprises many people. He is 10yrs old and even though I was terribly young to be having a child when I did, he is the light of my life. Becoming a parent at a young age alters your outlook on life. For me, the choices I have made might never have gotten me to where I am now without my little boy.
So that is a little bit about me. I generally try to make stories out of the lesser interesting things in life and put a spin on it. As well as my day to day life, I will try and write about topics that are either personal to me or maybe just something of an insight. Follow along, comment and inspire. Just don't write nasty stuff. It will be deleted.
