England why are you so cold?

Third entry into my blog and it is taking the shape of a journal. This to me seems no negative thing as I can keep track of my thoughts, my writing and my life. On the negative side to anyone following along (and I'm not too sure anyone really is), you get to read about my boring life to which i apologise/apologize UK/US.
So today is a Wednesday and since we had a ton of snow last night, the weather is ball numbingly cold. The news notes that this is England's worst winter for decades. It seems under the few inches of snow that we as a nation have shut down which is what we do everytime we get some snow. This is a pain because it means the rest of the World gets a good laugh at how pathetic we can be. Still, I only slipped once on the ice and I didn't fall over.
Today in University, I had an exam. A 1.5 hour exam on Counter-Culture. For unknown reasons I do not get afraid of exams or even the slightest bit nervous about them. Doesn't mean I am any good at them but as i sat there writing away, I realised how little I ever pick up a pen and write. I also had to chuckle at the bible sized Polish dictionary my friend Julian was carrying around (his English is perfect by the way, I think he just carried it to try get extra marks).
So back at the house after the exam me and my housemate realise we have not read a crucial book for an exam on Friday. The book is 250 pages long and is the book to the left of this article which I thought I would I would display a picture. It is by all means one of the best books to deal with the civil rights era in a novel form and I could recommend it to anyone. The only problem is that I am staying up all night to read it. It is now 2am and I figure it should be done by 5am latest. A few more cups of tea and finish updating this blog and I am all set for my long night in.
