It's been a month and a half since I updated my blog. It was in the back of my mind to do it but time just seemed to fly by and before I knew it, I was out of date!
So what to update? Well I guess I moved apartments and now live on the North side of Indianapolis which is a nice area. Apartments in America always seem so much nicer than England. They are bigger, have balconies and all seem to include washer/dryers and fridges. Kind of convenient for a guy who has very little furniture. Scratch that, no furniture.
Since moving apartments and living with my friend Nick, I have turned into a more serious gamer. Guitar hero and Halo wars is taking up my time of late. As is Battlestar Gallatica. It is seriously addictive so don't judge me for my new found hobby.
Also, since my last post, I have been reading a lot. Especially since I bought a Kindle. I have been reading George Bush's memoirs 'Decision points.' I must say it is a very good memoir, especially in the way it is written and how something complicated like a Presidency could be broken down for the everyday reader to read and understand. I wasn't even a Bush fan but I feel it is important to read and understand such an interesting role.
So the weather here in Indy has been up down lately. Last week it got to about 60 degrees Fahrenheit and melted most of the snow but about 3 weeks ago we had an ice storm and I had never witnessed one of these before but basically ice was falling from the sky. Kind of like hail but different. Hail showers normally stop after 2 minutes but this went on all day, turning everything into an ice rink. It really was fascinating and scary at the same time. I went to the grocery store, bought a pack of beer, food (what was left) and stayed in for 2 days straight!
Well that is all I have right now sadly. My first post in a month and and all I have is weather. Still, Packers won the Super bowl, it's St Patrick’s Day in 3 weeks and I am now medium on Guitar Hero so I guess you could say that actually my life is really going places!
